These capture Princess Leia who is a secret member of the rebellions. Princess Leia facilitates the escape of the astromech RD-D2 along with C-3P0. They take with them the Imperial Blueprints which have been stored inside a holographic message for the Jedi Night Obi-Wan Kenobi, who is retired and has been living on Tatooine, where he has been exiled.
With the help of Luke Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi is located. He reveals that Luke Skywalker’s father, who was murdered by Darth Vader, gave his lightsaber to Obi-Wan Kenobi for safekeeping. After reading the message from Princess Leia, they hire the smuggler Hans Solo, along with his co-pilot Chewbacca who is a Wookie.
The Rebels are able call on the help of The Force, an energy field consisting of both light and dark sides. The Jedi use light side while the dark side is used by the Sith, and the two sides often come together in combat.
